Everyone is a leader in their life
Change requires a change in mindset
Be present, be visible, be available and be engaged
Things happened because of who you are and your choices
Create a virtuous circle not a vicious circle
No one does anything amazing without taking risk
Men ask for more responsibility and money while women wait to be noticed
Ask for what you want, get the money 1st
Reach out and speak your truth
You grow when you’re uncomfortable
Choose a style that gives you confidence and show up consistently
When others see women in sr roles they see women can do it
Closing the gender pay gap is good for the economy
Networking is just the beginning, if you don’t develop relationships it doesn’t amount to much
By not having women in Sr. roles, companies are playing with half a deck
Women need sponsors, the person who can speak for you when you’re not there, someone who has power and a voice and understands your value
Women see taking risks as dangerous but it’s not suicidal
Being good at warm and fuzzy does not get you ahead
Keep your promises
Be a problem solver
Growth can come from any area of your life
Be of service, ask how you can help,
Balance comes and goes
Be open to feedback even if its not positive
Flexible work arrangements makes people healthier and happier
You got the job because the company has confidence in you so you should have confidence in yourself
You can’t be unsuccessful if you don’t keep learning
